Abstract

The authors consider the issues of effective brand management of Industrial University of Tyumen by developing a marketing strategy aimed at identifying tools that enhance branding and allow forming vivid mass communications of potential and actual consumers with the brand idea. To build an emotional connection with the brand, the authors suggest a creative format for presenting the university’s logo using the Tesla transformer. Particular attention is paid to the issues of rational placement of the logo in the architectural and urban ensemble of educational buildings of the university. The objectives of the pilot marketing research were to study the attitude of students and staff to the logo and other brand attributes of Industrial University of Tyumen and to identify their opinions on the proposed form of creative presentation of the logo. Analysis of the results of the study showed that it is necessary to strengthen the brand of the university by expanding the range of consumers and communications, aimed at creating a brand-oriented image of the university. This requires applying best practices for identifying and influencing its target audiences as part of an impressions marketing strategy. The creative format of the university logo fully meets the formulated needs.

Abstract

The article presents a project for the renovation of the territory of the river port of Tyumen, where river transport facilities (port, marinas and berths) are located. According to preproject analysis, this area does not meet modern requirements, aesthetically unattractive; industrial facilities located on it, are abandoned, monuments of architecture and historical and cultural heritage are in a dilapidated state; there are no recreation areas, there is a haphazard pattern of residential development. The authors have developed a project for a cultural and leisure center, which includes four independent parts of the building with different functional content. Its implementation will solve a set of problems of improvement of the river port area, fill it with new functions, and thus improve the quality of the urban environment and ensure proper recreation and leisure activities of the population. This project can be implemented in other ancient cities with similar problems.

Abstract

Nowadays, most of the materials used in the construction industry are composites. This is why it is necessary to select their optimal composition, which can be done using the mathematical planning of the experiment. In order to determine the most appropriate composition of the composite material based on gypsum binder with the addition of sawdust according to the criterion of the bending tensile strength, mathematical planning of the experiment was performed. The press was used to measure the bending tensile strength. The regression equation has been also obtained, the response surface has been constructed and the adequacy check of the obtained regression coefficients has been performed.

There is a renewed interest in limebased plaster coatings due to their optimal vapour permeability and bioproofness. This article discusses the possibility of producing dry lime plaster mix based on the lime-sand mixture of plants for the production of silicate bricks. Additionally improve the technological and operational characteristics of the lime dry plaster mix is proposed by using additives – redispersible polymer powder and cellulose ether.

Abstract

The article considers a cylindrical twolayer shell subjected to a longitudinal compressive force. An inhomogeneous cylindrical two-layer shell of finite length, consisting of a steel pipe and a protective reinforced concrete layer, was adopted as the calculation scheme. Based on the use of the assumptions of the theory of shells by Vasiliy Z. Vlasov, the equation of motion of the shell in efforts and displacements was obtained. A system of differential equations has been formed and solved taking into account the assumptions of this theory of cylindrical shells, the solution for determining the frequency of free vibrations taking into account the effect of internal working pressure, inhomogeneous ground pressure on the pipe wall and a longitudinal compressive force has been obtained.

Abstract

The article deals with the advantages of energy-efficient construction of low-rise buildings. Such buildings with the use of energysaving materials and technologies, characterized by low waste and non-aggressive attitude to the environment, are oriented towards comfortable, reliable, safe living, and the harmony between man and dwelling and the environment. The attention on the necessity to form environmental thinking in order to implement the concept of environmental friendliness low-rise buildings and, as a consequence, to meet the growing needs of people to live in an individual eco-house is emphasized. Outlines current trends in the construction of energy-efficient homes in Russia.

Abstract

Beekeeping is a promising area of selfemployment and it is widely spread in the Volgograd region. However, the development of this activity is hampered by the lack of an established system for selling honey products. To deliver honey to stores, it is necessary to organize a delivery process that take into account all the features of the transported cargo and at the same time minimizes economic costs. The article considers the method of modeling the transportation process of honey products. The optimal type of transport container was determined. Based on the indicators of cargo capacity and underutilized floor area of the truck body, it was selected the rolling stock. Technological schemes for the transportation of honey products from the wholesale warehouse to retail stores in the city of Volgograd were proposed. The total cost of transport time, as well as the cost-effectiveness of technological schemes were determined.

Abstract

The article deals with the problem of violations of traffic rules by bus drivers when passing intersections. Violations of different nature in the presence of road signs 5.15.1 and 5.15.2, as well as the lines of road markings 1.18 are given. There are presented specific locations in the city of Tyumen, where drivers commit intentional and unintentional violations. Court practice on the issues of offenses at intersections by a route vehicle is analyzed. Possible ways of solving this problem, including at the legislative level, are suggested.

Abstract

The work of the personnel department of the company largely determines the effectiveness of its activities. Planning, organizing, accounting, and controlling the staff work are management functions that can and should be automated in the era of digital transformation. The authors have assessed the functionality of the HR-service of the construction firm; they have carried out the decomposition of first and second level of recruitment and data processing tasks to assess the possible priority of automation of personnel processes in the intelligent system of personnel planning of the construction enterprise.

Abstract

The results of the research allow us to extend the scope of the "decision tree" method introduction into the processes of making design decisions and exploring of variants of technological equipment when choosing construction equipment for excavation works by the example of the construction object "Architectural ensemble "Voznesensky" in Tyumen.

To achieve the research purpose the following problems were solved: variants of the traditional approach to determination of building equipment requirements were considered; models and methods of management decisions were analyzed; the "decision tree" method with its advantages and disadvantages was studied; the "decision tree" method was successfully used in the digital experiment and recommended for the implementation in developing an algorithm for decision-making and choosing variants of mechanization of excavation works using Deductor Academic Studio program to build an actual object. Nowadays we've never known any cases of direct application of the "decision tree" method in project management in the Russian construction industry.

There are no published results of researches about its introduction in processes of making design and industrial decisions.
